Vera Farkas – Director of Finance
Vera is thrilled to have been a part of Rare Indigo’s team for the last 10 years. After owning her own business for over 30 years, Vera is an expert in overseeing the financial details on projects both large and small. Her talent for numbers and her business foresight are instrumental in guiding the company’s fiscal responsibilities. Vera also brings international experience to Rare Indigo. Living in Europe for many years where she obtained a degree in languages, she has used her knowledge and talents in translating legal documents as well as having worked extensively in the travel industry. Having explored the world, she eventually found the wild and energizing scenery of Canada’s West Coast just too beautiful to leave.
When she’s not chasing after the team for an expense report, you can find her knitting a sweater by a roaring fire for one of her four grandkids.
Favorite Western Canada experience: Enjoying one of the many luxurious hotel spas in BC and Alberta or treating herself to a walk in the sunshine in Whistler Village.
